If you know about a big, white sport utility vehicle with a broken off mirror, police may want to hear from you. LaSalle County Sheriff Adam Diss says that’s the description of an SUV involved in a hit-and-run crash south of LaSalle Sunday afternoon. A bicyclist was hit on Illinois 351. The SUV had a yellow temporary license plate. And police think the passenger side mirror came off. Diss says if you know something about it, call 815-433-2161 and press 8 at the prompt.
