Grundy County Public Defender Gary Dobbs will be Judge Dobbs in two weeks. He’s been appointed to fill the term of Lance Peterson, who’s moving up to the Third District Appellate Court. The term ends December 2, 2024. Dobbs has the option of running for it in that year’s election if he wants to be a judge longer.
