One of Peru’s water towers is getting repainted inside and out. City Engineer Eric Carls say it’s the one located north of Interstate 80 close to the Cabin Fever restaurant. He says there isn’t a set schedule yet but the city will set up a contract with Putnam County Painting and will give city leaders a progress schedule.
It’s supposed to be completed by the end of the summer. It will cost about $734,000.
