Republican Jed Davis, the school board president at Parkview Christian Academy in Yorkville, says he’s grateful to everyone for his primary win. That includes the man he beat in the 75th Illinois House district.
Davis defeated incumbent David Welter who says it’s been a tremendous privilege to serve in the House for six years and he congratulates Davis on his victory.
In the 74th district, Republican Bradley Fritts wins the nomination over Li Arellano.
And in the 105th, Dennis Tipsword emerged ahead of three other Republicans.
The candidates in these Illinois House races do not know yet if they’ll have Democratic opponents.
