The Supreme Court decision against abortion rights at the federal level leaves it up to states to regulate. Andrew Moore of Stand for Life Ottawa says it opens a new era for people opposed to abortion. He says much work will be state-by-state to protect life in the womb. And he wants what he calls compassionate pro-life laws to support women who need support so it’s easier to choose against abortion.

Nicole O’Shea with Stand with Planned Parenthood Ottawa calls it tragedy for women across the world. She says—her words–thankfully because of Gov. Pritzker, Illinois will be safe. But she says the decision could lead to more changes. She thinks contraception and same sex marriage could be done away with next.

O’Shea doesn’t believe women across the U.S. will have enough resources to care for babies.
