While the family of John Fritts mourns his death earlier this week, campaign volunteers will continue urging Republicans in the 74th Illinois House District to vote for Brad Fritts. The Fritts family is taking time off to mourn the death.
John Fritts was the campaign manager for Brad Fritts. Both were in a car involved in a traffic crash in Earlville Monday. John Fritts died; Brad Fritts was treated and released at a hospital. Brad Fritts says his uncle was a pillar of the family because of his leadership, faith, and love.
Li Arellano, the other person asking for the nomination in the race, posted a message of condolence to the Fritts family and says John Fritts was a long-serving public servant and presence at community events.
The 74th Illinois House district covers northwest LaSalle County and parts of Lee, DeKalb, Ogle, and Whiteside counties.
