Another scheduling conflict caused the lawyer for 28-year-old Bradley French to not show up in court Friday. French is accused of shooting and killing 38-year-old Joshua Scaman with a razor-tipped arrow in 2015 at an Illinois Valley Community College parking lot.

Assistant State’s Attorney Greg Sticka says French’s lawyer was at a seminar and couldn’t make it. Judge H. Chris Ryan set a status date for June 24th. This is the second time French’s new lawyer hasn’t been able to make it to court.
