Current COVID-19 cases in LaSalle County went up again, but not as much as the week before. The LaSalle County Health Department reported 237 new cases for a total of 30,475 so far and 202 recoveries for a total of 28,895.
There are 1,580 current cases of the virus in the county, which is up from 1,545 last week. The health department also reported one additional death for a total of 473 so far. It was a man in his eighties.
The county has remained in the medium community risk level for about a month as well.
