A man was flown to St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria today after he was rescued from a hole at the old Waltham School demolition site north of Utica. Utica Fire Dept. Lieutenant Jody Henry says an excavator hit the man in the head at about 11:30am. He fell 20 feet into the hole. Several rescue agencies were called through the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System. The entire rescue was done in two hours.
