Dan Stecken says his first year as the superintendent at Seneca High was wonderful. He thanks the students, teachers, and school board. He wants to expand some of the new things the school did during the last year including bringing about three dozen employers to the school for a job fair.

Stecken says all the graduating seniors’ plans for life after high school were announced. They included going straight to work, joining the military, going to trade school, and going to college.

Stecken says a lot of the good that came during his first year is because he had former superintendent Jim Carlson for a mentor. Stecken says he learned to lead from the heart and with character.
