Current VP of the Morris Hospital and Healthcare Centers’ Thomas Dohm will become the new President and CEO of healthcare system. Dohm has thirty years of experience after working at Mercy Hospital in Chicago, Provident Hospital of Cook County, and Oak Forest Hospital.
Public Relations Manager Janet Long says he done several projects since joining the hospital in 2015. One includes a $63 million master facility plan that resulted in a new emergency department, women’s imaging center, and cardio diagnostics and imaging departments.
Dohm will start on July 1st succeed current CEO Mark Steadham, who is retiring after twelve years. He is a native of Chicago but now lives in Morris. He’s also on the Board of Directors for the Grundy Economic Development Council, Deerpath Ambulatory Surgery Center, Lightways, and the Stagecoach Crossing Association.
