A rollover tractor accident is being blamed for the death of an Ottawa man Tuesday afternoon. Detective Sgt. Kyle Booras says police were called to the 800 block of Chapel St. because a tractor rolled into an embankment and trapped the man inside.
Heavy equipment was used to remove the tractor and life saving measures were performed. But the man was pronounced dead after being taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. Booras says the investigation is still ongoing. The man’s name has not been released because police still need to notify the next of kin.
