A new trial date has been set for the Morris man accused of obstructing a peace officer. 29-year old Jacob Farmer, or “Justice Jake”, has a trial scheduled for June 21st.

He and his sister Angel are accused of trying to bring in their cell phones at the Etna Rd. Courthouse in Ottawa last year. That allegedly cause an interference with security personnel.

Farmer was charged with another count of obstruction and battery in December when he could have gone to trial the first time. He’ll be back in Judge H. Chris Ryan’s courtroom on June 15th.
