Cong. Adam Kinzinger proposed a bill to authorize Pres. Biden to use military force against Russia in certain circumstances. The proposal would allow it if Russia uses chemical, biological, or nuclear weapons. The Channahon Republican says it would send a warning to Vladimir Putin. He’s also hoping for broad Congressional support for Biden’s proposal for humanitarian and military aid to Ukraine through September. Kinzinger spoke on the CBS show Face the Nation.
