The inside stairs at Lincoln Elementary School will be redone. The Ottawa Elementary School Board awarded the project to Bee Liner Lean Services for about $86,000.
Supt. Cleve Threadgill says the district is happy to get the project done. He says it’s been on a five year facility plan. He says after a while, the stairs start to wear out and need to be repaired for safety reasons.
He says the project will be completed over the summer. The school board went out for bid at last month’s meeting.
