It was a pitcher’s duel at King Field in softball but the Lady Pirates came up short losing to LP 1-0. For the Lady Cavaliers, Chloe Mitchell pitched 10 strikeouts. McKenzie Oslanzi also had a strong outing, pitching seven innings allowing only one run with six-strikeout in the loss for Ottawa.

St Bede defeated Mendota 7-2. Ella Hermes pitched a complete game, allowing two runs with 17 strikeouts for the Lady Bruins.

Marquette earned a big win at home over Yorkville Christian 13-3 in 5 innings. Highlights for the Crusaders, Logan Nelson belted a homerun and had 2 RBIs. Sam Mitre, Brady Ewers and Taylor Waldron each finished with 3 RBIs. Aidan Thompson pitched 10 strikeouts in the victory.
Ottawa won big at Sandwich 9-1. For the Pirates, Jack Olson went 7 innings with 7 strikeouts. Aiden Mucci had two hits, two RBIs and Zander Baxter batted two singles and an RBI.
Serena dominated at home over Hiawatha 14-4 in 5 innings. Winning pitcher for the Huskers was Carson Baker going 5 innings with 8 strikeouts.
