A jury trial has been scheduled for July 25th for 30-year old Michael Swift of Mokena in the death of 21-year old Grace Taylor of Ottawa. Swift is accused of stabbing the south side woman at her apartment last April. Trials in two counties are being arranged. Swift is accused of trying to hire a hit man while in the Kendall County jail in September. He allegedly tried to hire someone to kill two people involved in the murder case. He’ll go in front of a Kendall County judge for a possible schedule on Monday.
