A man was found dead at a Mendota home in the 500 block of 11th Ave Thursday. Mendota Police says they allegedly found that multiple gunshots were fired from multiple guns in the front room of the house.
The bullets apparently exited the home and hit neighborhood homes, fences, garages, and an automobile. Police say they investigated another incident in the 500 block of 12th Ave where they say a car had a bullet hole in the driver’s side door, but didn’t find evidence like shell casings.
They also haven’t said if the incidents are related. The matter is still under investigation. We’ll have more information as it becomes available.
Mendota police also say that there is no cause for alarm and there is no current threat stemming from the incident.
