Businesses can sign up for this year’s Ottawa Farmer’s Market on Jackson St. Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jeff Hettrick says anyone interested must fill out a contract with the chamber before they can sell items like produce, plants, and hand crafted items.
He says in the contract, a business can decide on how long they want to be in the farmers market.
Contracts are expected to be turned in by April 21st, but that’s if you would want to open every Saturday.
The farmers market will kick off on May 21st on Jackson St. and could go until about October, depending on the weather.
