Because of the work he has done, Marseilles Wastewater Treatment Plant Supt. Jason Rix was given an award through the Illinois Rural Water Association. He was awarded as the Wastewater Systems Operations Specialist of the Year.
Executive Director Frank Dunmire says Rix goes above and beyond to make sure that Marseilles has a clean wastewater output, as well as protecting the receiving streams for today and the future. The city congratulated Rix on social media through a Facebook post.
