About three dozen school districts and student services could send specially honored personnel to the Excellence in Education banquet in Ottawa this year. Regional Superintendent of Schools Chris Dvorak says it’ll be outside in an open house style honoring people of different districts as they arrive. And there won’t be one top award.
The banquet will be in Ottawa’s Jordan block of Thursday, May 5 from 4pm to 7pm. Anyone’s welcome to go and congratulate the honorees, but the food will be by ticket only.
