A man from Justice, IL is accused of robbing the Shell Oasis gas station Monday in the 3000 block of North IL Rt. 71. Detective Sgt. Kyle Booras says 28-year old Kyle A. Buss was arrested after he was found near another building that was located near the service station.
Booras says witnesses told police that Buss allegedly told them he had a weapon and demanded money from the cash register. He says Buss apparently took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area.
Buss was taken to the LaSalle County Jail and hasn’t had a bond set. He was also charged last month with retail theft in a separate case.
