It would cost a little more than $76,000 to update the LaSalle County Board Room at the Etna Rd. Courthouse in Ottawa. IT Director John Haag told the County Board Property Committee that the sound system would cost around $58,000 plus an extra $1,000 for recording executive sessions.
Haag also says there will be new microphones that will improve the sound quality and cut out background conversations. He also says that each board member would get a laptop. The County Board Property Committee didn’t approve any purchases because it wasn’t on the agenda.
