A Seneca man was sentenced Tuesday to sixteen years behind bars with about two years of good time credit. 24-year old Kevin Paulsen was found guilty back in October last year after an evidence analyst testified that his DNA was found.
Assistant State’s Attorney Matt Kidder says the victim was very pleased with the outcome of the case. Paulsen has already served 501 days in the county jail.
Correction: Paulsen was given two sentences of sixteen years for aggravated sexual assault and three years for criminal sexual abuse. The terms are consecutive. We apologize for the confusion.
