The city of Peru is forming an intergovernmental agreement with the city of LaSalle to improve and repair a road the cities share. It will be where 24th Street in LaSalle turns into Wenzel Rd in Peru on northside.
Peru City Engineer Eric Carls says the project is already out for bid. He says he and LaSalle City Engineer Brian Brown will look over the bids and then let both city councils approve it. Mayor Ken Kolowski says it’s a good venture between the two cities.
