An Ottawa man was transported to a Rockford hospital with serious injuries after the multiple vehicle accident Thursday on Interstate 80 north of Marseilles. The ISP says forty-five old Clarence R. Lawrence was one of the five victims involved in the crash. The others victims involved were from Illinois, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Iowa.
State Police say they’re still investigating what happened. Two of the vehicles involved are semi-trucks. The Ottawa Fire Department says a semi-truck turned over a little before 2pm. That caused another crash involving a semi-truck east of there.
