An Ottawa man accused of firing a gun several times in the front yard of a house in 2020 has pleaded guilty. 23-year old William C. Johnson IV received thirty months of probation.
Prosecutors say that Johnson was claiming self defense when he fired the shots in the air. Judge Cynthia Raccuglia dropped two other charges.
Johnson was also accused of firing the gun with a revoked FOID card.
