Last night on WCMY, Marquette had a strong 2nd half to win at Serena 87-76. For the Crusaders, Tommy Durdan led the way with 28 points, Griffin Walker had 15 points and Alex Graham finished with 12. The Huskers Camden Figgins scored 25 points in the home loss.
The JV team also defeated Serena 57-39.
Streator were winners at Manteno. Jack Haynes led the Bulldogs with 25 points and Christian Benning added 16 points in the road victory.
LP suffered a tough loss to Kaneland 68-39. Josh Senica scored 13 points for the Cavaliers.
St Bede lost to Princeton 73-61. Paul Hart finished with 26 points for The Bruins.
Seneca defeated Earlville 65-53.
The Ottawa Lady Pirates defeated Sandwich at Kingman Gym 51-37. Zoe Harris scored 15 points and Marlie Orlandi added 10 points for Ottawa.

In junior high volleyball, both Shepherd teams competed against Princeton Jr high. The 7th graders lost in 2 sets. Kendall Biba led the Lady Rams with 5 points. The 8th grade team also lost in 2 matches. Mary Stisser finished with 5 points for Shepherd.
