Kids have already started registering for the Children’s Business Fair to be held in Ottawa’s Washington Park on August 13th. Dylan Conmy at Prairie Fox Books heard about the event done across the country for the first time in 2007 and decided Ottawa should have one. He says there’ll be room for 50 kids in grades one through 12 to show their products and services.
They could earn prizes for creativity and problem solving. Parents are supposed to stay out of it for the most part, so the children will learn business skills.
