Scott Cameron will be the next superintendent in the Streator High School District. The school board approved a three year agreement with Cameron who was the superintendent for the Pawnee School District.
Streator High School Board President Steve Biroshik says that Cameron was a good fit. He says that he seemed real comfortable with the members. He also says Cameron shares some of the same philosophy on school finances.
Biroshik says the district hired a consulting firm which helped the district pick the top five candidates. He says he believes fifteen candidates applied for the job.
