St. Paul Medical Center in Mendota recently got an award from the Illinois Critical Care Access Hospital network. In a federal program, St. Paul was evaluated in several areas to understand how patients are cared for when they’re transferred from one level of care to another. St. Paul was in the top 10% nationwide. There are 57 hospitals in Illinois in the program.
