Utility Terrain Vehicle users in Marseilles can drive on more streets than they could before. The city amended an ordinance to allow UTV’s to be able to drive from U.S 6 north to the Morris Blacktop, or N. 30th Rd.
Mayor Jim Hollenbeck says before the city took over what is now Rutland Street; UTVs were not allowed on the road because it belonged to the county. He says if anyone drives past the Morris Blacktop, the county controls those roads.
