An Ottawa man already accused of meth dealing and unlawful possession of a weapon has been charged with stealing a motorcycle. Ottawa Detective Sgt. Kyle Booras says during a search warrant last Wednesday at the home of 45-year old Christopher Cunico, police and Trident agents allegedly found a motorcycle that was painted a different color and had the VIN number grounded off.
Booras says the VIN number was eventually recovered on a painted part of the motorcycle. He says the bike was allegedly stolen from Franklin County, IL in 2018.
Cunico has been in the LaSalle County Jail on previous charges with a bond set at two million dollars.
