The submission period for the Illinois Valley Community College 2022 Paul Simon Student Essay Contest is open. Students can write an essay that best describes “How IVCC has changed my life” in 500 words or less.
The student who writes the best essay will win $300 and read their essay at the May 14th commencement. They are due on February 14th by noon.
The winning essay will be entered into the IVCC trustee’s association statewide contest, where one submission will be chosen for a $500 award. Anyone who is currently enrolled full or part time at IVCC is eligible and should submit the essay as an attachment to Community_Relations@ivcc.edu.
