A longtime teacher and coach is among this year’s inductees to the Ottawa High School Hall of Fame. Tom Grady was in football, basketball, and track at OHS. He graduated in 1964, put in some military service in the Army in Vietnam, and went on to become a teacher.

He taught at Milton Pope School for 33 years and was an athletic coach for 32 years. He taught several subjects and coached in numerous sports. Grady earned Excellence in Education awards in LaSalle County in 1989 and 2002. And he was inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2007.
