Peru City Hall is closed to the public. It’ll be closed for two weeks because of COVID-19 concerns. The city’s announcement says utility bill payments can be put in the payment drop box. Payments can also be made over the telephone with a credit card. The announcement doesn’t say what will be done for next Monday’s city council meeting which would be on Jan. 17, but the city has been putting meetings online, even when they’re open to in-person attendance.
