The Marquette Crusaders came back in the 4th quarter to beat Serena 72-64. Leading the way for the Cru were Brady Ewers with 23 points and Tommy Durdan finishing 20 points.
Marquette will play Somonauk for fifth tonight at 5 p.m.

Last night at The Plano Christmas Classic, Ottawa gave a strong performance to defeat Lisle 49-34. Luke Cushing led the Pirates with 17 points and Anthony Miller added 11 more in the Victory.

In girls basketball at the Amboy Holiday Tournament, Marquette defeated Mendota 55-24. Lilly Craig scored 15 points for the Lady Crusaders. Marquette will now face Hall at 4:30 in the 5th place contest.
