A 23-year old Streator man was killed in a shooting in South Streator Sunday night. LaSalle County Coroner Rich Ploch says Austin M. Adamchak died at the OSF Center for Care in Streator. He had reportedly been shot during a home invasion in the 1600 block of S. Bloomington St. The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the circumstances because it happened south of the Livingston-LaSalle county line.
