Members on the LaSalle County Board will still be allowed to attend meetings remotely. But there are a few changes to the rules.

One new rule says if a representative is denied the option to attend remotely, whether it’s the full board or on a committee, they can’t vote. It will also be up to the person in charge of the full board or committee to decide on whether a person can join a meeting remotely.

Board members must also notify the county board at least 24 hours in advance before a scheduled meeting if they can’t make it, unless it’s an emergency.
