Endorsements have been made for 14th district congressional candidate James Marter and Illinois Supreme Court candidate Judge Mary Kay O’Brien.
Marter has been endorsed by Taxpayers United of America*. He says that he has a solid record of opposing the tax and spend policies that have resulted in out of control government debt.
Marter says his opponent, current 14th district Rep. Lauren Underwood has no intentions of ending her tax and spend spree and this is particularly obvious with her recent votes.
The Illinois Federation of Teachers has endorsed Judge Mary Kay O’Brien because of her strong support for Illinois working families. IFT President Dan Montgomery says her deep ties to the community, history of public service, and extensive experience will make her a fair and impartial judge.
