New coronavirus cases in LaSalle County went up by 640 during the last week. The county’s health department says there were 198 recoveries. The different caused the current coronavirus case count to surge from 1,469 last week to 1,910 this week. There were no new fatal cases reported during the last week, so that figure remains at 359.
Because of the high number of new cases, the health department is getting a lot of telephone calls. It says it’s taking longer than usual to get back to everyone, so everyone should remember to be patient.
