Tomorrow the Ottawa Pirates will host the Streator Bulldogs in a route 23 matchup at Kingman gym.

St. Bede won big over Putnam County 69-39, Fieldcrest defeated Hall 70-61 after three overtimes and Bureau Valley outscored Stillman Valley 64-52
Results in girls basketball
Serena beat Somonauk 59-47. Katie Baker finished with 20 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds and 5 steals for the Lady Huskers.
Seneca won at Roanoke – Benson 52-35. Leading the way for the Lady Irish was Emma Smith with 18 points.
Streator lost at home to Coal City 38-20 at Pops Dale Gymnasium. Jeniece White led the Lady Bulldogs with 7 points.
The Ottawa freshman boys basketball team defeated St. Bede 43-27. Leading scorer for Ottawa was Aric Threadgill with 11 points.
Post-season results in junior high girls basketball.
The Marquette Academy seventh-grade team finished the season 2nd in the state after coming up short to Sigel St. Michael 32-24 in the championship game of the IESA Class 1A State Tournament. Anna Hjerpe led the Lady Knights with 10 points with Hunter Hopkins and Kinley Rick each adding five points in the loss.
The 8th Grade Shepherd team lost to Lockport Oak Prairie 42-23 in the IESA 4A Sectional Championship. Mary Stisser and Ashlynn Ganiere each scored 7 points for the Lady Rams.
