Yesterday it was announced this will be the last year for the Marseilles Holiday High School Tournament held at Marseilles Grade School. Next year the tournament will be moving to Marquette Academy’s Bader Gym and will be renamed the Marquette Christmas Tournament.

Results from the Colmone Classic last night in Spring Valley, St. Bede defeated Stillman Valley 66-51, Rock Falls won big over Bureau Valley 53-30 and Mendota beat Fieldcrest 64-52.
Last night’s game between the Ottawa Lady Pirates and LP at Kingman was postponed for a later date. The Friday game versus Plano has also been postponed until further notice.
Girls basketball scheduled so far for tonight: Marquette is at Henry, Seneca will host Roanoke-Benson and Streator is home to face Coal City
The Ottawa boys bowling team lost to St. Bede. Nelson Brandt led the way for the pirates with a 665 series score and a high game of 242.
Both Shepherd boys basketball teams defeated Mendota Northbrook.
The 8th Grade team won 45-37. Leading the way for the Rams: Lucas Farabaugh with 17 points and 10 rebounds, also Hezekiah Joachim and Colt Bryson each scored 12 points.
The 7th Graders won 40-15. Griffin Dobberstein had 18 points and 9 rebounds for Shepherd.
