The Starved Rock Country Community Foundation and Lady Di’s in Ottawa are once again working together to bring gifts to teens in need. The Green Stock Teen Fund is used to give gifts for teens in need that have aged out of the Red Stocking Drive, which gives gifts to children ages twelve and under.
President George Carizey says the foundation doesn’t shop for the gifts, but they bring in the money.
Pamela Beckett, who’s also with the foundation, says local organizations that support teens in need make referrals. Donations for the fund can be made online at the foundations website, www.srccf.org.
