The LaSalle County Health Department says there were more than 300 new positive tests for COVID-19 in the county in just the first three days of December. The total number of new cases since Wednesday last week is 524. Recoveries during that time numbered just 122. As of Friday, the county figures show 1,469 currently active coronavirus cases. Two more deaths were attributed to the virus for 359 so far.
