Almost eight years after he became the LaSalle County Parks Manager, Steve Rotchford has retired. Tuesday last week was his last day on the job. He told the County Board Property Committee goodbye and thanks for the wonderful adventure. Rotchford says in a job like that, a person gets to appreciate nature in a way most people don’t think about—the maintenance aspect.
Rotchford started on the job in February 2012. The county parks manager now is Ken Henze of Leland.
