Ottawa Mayor Dan Aussem wants to know what the public thinks about the options for Riordan Pool. He has called a City Council workshop meeting for 5pm Thursday at City Hall. A consultant reported to the city in September that repairs and upgrades at the pool would cost $1.7 million over the next five years. Replacing it would cost $4 million. The Ottawa YMCA’s new building will have a pool, an indoor alternative to Riordan, that could be open year-round.
