Illinois Valley Community College students will get some financial relief in the spring semester. Students taking 12 or more credit hours will get $1,000. Those taking six to 11 hours will get $500. The money is from the college’s emergency relief fund that came from a federal coronavirus relief bill.
Also, most students will qualify for $100 gift cards to use at the IVCC book store. And students who are in dual credit courses for college and high school credit will have tuition and registration fees waived. Students who complete a Career and Technical Education dual credit course will qualify for a three-hour tuition waiver in the summer or fall.
