A recently retired drug dog that worked with the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team died this week. Trident says Bailey was a 13-year old cocker spaniel who had an 11-year career. She helped Trident agents catch cocaine, heroin, cannabis, and methamphetamine with street values topping $14 million. She also helped them seize allegedly illicit money totaling more than $14.5 million. Trident says Bailey died in her sleep from natural causes Tuesday.
