18-year old Demarcus Denwiddie of Joliet is still looking to hire a private attorney. He’s the teen accused of shooting a Grundy County Sheriff’s Deputy back in October near Mazon. The officer lived.
Denwiddie requested a private lawyer during his bond hearing but hasn’t hired one yet. A new date has been set by a Grundy County Judge for December 2nd to give Denwiddie some time.
He’s accused of attempted murder, aggravated discharge of a firearm, and aggravated battery and his bond is still stands at $10 million.
